AD Happy Halloween - AnimatedSubmitting AR-11 does not help but it is required. I did submit AR-11 still went to my old address. But my EAD/AP approvals came to my new address bcoz of change of address submitted through USPS. USCIS sent me all the confirmation that I have successfully changed my address for EAD/AP petitions, but still managed to send them to my old address.
I hope it helps.
sathyaraj:
* Could you explain which address you sent the AR-11 initially and how did you manage to change to new address using USPS?
* Did you get any confirmation from USCIS on both occasions?
* Did you call USCIS customer service and update them with your new address after sending them AR-11?

Me and my spouse didn't applied together, I added her in 2008.
Happy to see more approvals. You should think about contributing to IV that helped you in your green card journey

I was told by my attorneys para leagal (so who knows if this is true or not....) that the ITIN number is the same number that will be issued in the form of ssn.
I think this is incorrect. Since both the formats are different and in my
application we validate SSN . which has completly different logic.
Each number of SSN conveys a particular detail about the SSN. Where
as we capture TIN also but that validation is completly different.

Its kinda sad, but I can relate with both the sides here. For folks who are stuck in the stupid AAP (NameCheck, Security Clearance) - the life is harsh - especially if you just came for a quick trip. I am dealing with it for the last 5.5 months and it hasn't been easy. Thankfully, we have a workaround.
But yes, I do agree that missing a lifetime wedding of a sibling because you will get stuck for a few months is perhaps taking it too far. Now, I know folks who have/are doing this and they have valid reasons. We all have our own reasons and to each his /her own.
If you can get Advance Parole then travel with it. If you cannot, then just be prepared for the long haul and prepare your company/client - lawyer and ensure there is a support system that will see through your obligations in States. US Govt. will eventually clear the Visa - the sibling may not necessarily marry again! :) Make your choice! Good Luck and do the right thing for you!!!

Points of comparisons would be pricing (frequent flyer discounts), leg room, optimum layover, wheelchair facility, good in-flight attendance, food and so on...the experience with the emirates has been ok thus far.
emirates didn't provide the wheel chair at the airport although it was made available in india and sfo. also the leg from dubai to sfo is very long.
please share your experiences and provide your feedback.
Try Singapore Airlines. You cannot escape a 12 to 16 hour second leg if you fly over the Pacific, but Singapore service is quite good. Cathay has been decent as well.

Govt. has stipulated some wage while doing LCA. I think these activists should go after the govt. to raise that wage if they feel if it is low.

3d Animated GIF Showcase |the question is when we march with them, will we be marching for amnesty or for our issues. If we are marching for our issues, where, when and who will we be making this case to? I don't consider myself better than the undocumented, but I would like to know will I have a voice?
One may choose to sleepwalk with this complex (superiority?) that I am not one of them, but the reality on the ground is different. Our cause is hostage to bitter politics and guess what the only way at this point in time we can possibly achieve our goal by playing the politics right.
BTW in politics right or wrong is rarely a consideration.

If you go outside of US for more than one year than only you will be count against quota. If you were on H1 and stopped working for more than one year and still in US than also you are not counted in quota.

moving wallpaper gif. animatedThanks for the reply. Atlast I could talk to my lawyer and the reason given by him is while sending the I485 application for my wife they sent the 1 & 3rd page of the application & missed the 2nd & 4th pages while taking xerox copies. He said he will try to resend it but not not sure whether tehy will accept. He took even 1000$ more from me for fast service.
For his mistake I have to pay the price.
I don't know what to do now..

ackground imageI need your input.
My PD was Feb 2006-EB2.
I changed job on June 22nd to another company using EAD. Now the PD has become current for Aug.My old company and the new company are in different cities but it is the same state.
I was planning to apply for AC-21 but i have not gotten consistent pay checks yet. My first check was a partial check. I will have 2 consistent paychecks by Aug 15th.
1) Is it safe to just wait and see if i get a 485 approval without alerting USCIS about my job change?
I am thinking since the job change is very recent they might not know about this job change.
Its not mandatory to file AC21. If at all any RFE for EVL, you can respond at that time with your new job info.
2) If they denied my 485 application for any reason ,can i continue to work while i apply for "reconsidering my 485 application" and file AC-21 with the new company?
My understanding is, till your MTR is approved, you cannot work. Ofcourse, this applies only if you're using EAD based on that i-485. If you're still on H1/other visa or using EAD based on some other I-485, this wont apply to you.
Please advice what you think about this. Basically i am trying to "not rock the boat" and raise suspicion and more RFEs by notifying them about this very recent change.
I agree.. at this time just let it take the course...
Thank you very much for your advice and help in this matter.
BTW, if your address changed (since you mentioned the job is in different city), then you HAVE to file the AR-11 within 10 days. Don't take chance on that...

(600kb) animated GIF imageI am in the same boat as well. But you answer your question - am almost sure you don't need FP to renew your EAD. Having said that - why would renew your card in June? (Considering that you might not have received your EAD till Aug-Sep'07 of last year).

animatedHey Guys,

Hope this help you more to assess my situation. Please share your opinions. I already have a forum on murthy since last two days but I do not see any responses...

wallpaper gif animation.Mr Aggarwal, you might remember you gave me suggestion of going out of US for few days and then my employer can apply 2 I-129 applications simultanously.
Here was my case : I am on H-1B status since May 2005 and my 6 years expired on 12th May 2011. My employer applied for LC on 15th May 2010 which is still pending ( under audit ). In order for us to seek 7th year extension, I went out of US for 4 days and came back bcz I have to be in status on the day my labor was going to be 365 days pending. My employer filed two I-129 applications, ( both applications under normal processing) one for seeing 4 days to recoup, and 2nd application for 7th year extension But USCIS sent 2nd application back alongwith fee and gave us only 1 file number. Why is that?
Is it because they can accept only 1 application at a time( for 4 days extension) and wont entertain 2nd application unless 1st has been decided?
Or .. Are they going to do processing for whole 1 year and 4 months in same application and returned the extra fee of 2nd application?
I am confused now, because what if they are processing only 1st application and give me just 4 day extension after 2 months. Also, shall my employer be able to file 2nd application after 2 months when I am out of status ?
Please help .
