I have applied for extension in June this year and got approved (July itself) for 3 years without any RFE based on I-140 approval.....

I have the exact same scenario :(
i don't think anyone would be able to use first EAD filed during July/Aug time frame as I-140 itself will take more than 1 yr.. or longer who knows...money wasted on EAD.

Mine was delivered at 9.02 am July 2nd and signed by R.Mickels .
Checks havent been cashed.no receipts

Now a days I head the appointments are easily available.

My case was also transferred to CSC. The transfer notice has a different receipt date than the receipt notice. MY case is now transferred back to NSC.
I would like to know if anybody of you have received finger print notice. I have not received it yet.

No FP, or any other communication whatsoever. Just the transfer notice.

there were only 4 fax sent , when i sent it yesterday. i am not sure if many sent in faxes and just did not pot. if not it is very important to send out this word. moderators what is plan of action?

dude do not hang-up. It is just another innovative way by USCIS to check your patience. The message changes to 5-10 minutes and then someone does talk to you ... :)

I am working on H1B. Recently what has happened that my family lives in state A, and I am working in state B. My family could not move to state B because my sone is going to school. I have to pay alot of expenses to go back and fort from state B to A, like air ticket and cab ect. I talking to my compnay regarding this and they said that whatever are my expenses submit to every month end and he will send a check for those expenses which will be pre taxed amount. i.e. if my pre taxed salary is $ 5000 per-month , if I submit expense statemet for $500. Then my employer will send a check of 500 and paystub i.e. direct deposit after applying tax on $4500.

I am not sure whatever he is suggesting is good tyhing to do and it will not have any problem for me.

Anyways, what I believe is happening is USCIS wants to make sure of your continued legal status in the country and also to make sure that there are no SIGNIFICANT gaps in status.

Haing said that I believe that your attorney is correct, in that if you filed extension before expiry of the H1 you should be fine. The Pearsons memo also states "a reasonable time" for you to find another job, so your 20 days should be just fine.

Just make sure your attroney writes a good response back and not just sends the I-797's.

I can get all letters (of employment etc) from my employer. That is not an issue.

But do I need any other docuuments for I-140/labor etc., other than I-140 receipt number ?

Same thing happened to a friend, and he complained to DOL. The employer was made to pay the amount with fine.

I just read about someone in San Fernando who killed his family and himself because he didn't have a job.

Please reach out to your friends in times of difficulty....the world is not going to end if you don't have a job OR if you there are delays in getting your GC..the world is a wonderful place and still full of opportunity - to add value, to help others etc...you may need to reach out to your friends for help to find your calling or the next opportunity....please don't be desperate....and please ask for help. we all have so many things to be happy and thankful for...

Well said... the economy will rebound as time progresses. Let us hope and pray it happens quickly.

I modified the height instead of the scaleY for the grid and that seemed to work. However I got some unexpected results. When I used the scaleY method all the children in the grid also scaled. But using height left the children's height unaffected. Is this how it should be? It seems strange that the grid below it would slide up as I had hoped yet the upper grid's child textbox and label sizes stay the same and in place.

I am also in same situation. My lawyer told me that he will file our application seperately without including each other as dependant. This doessn't make sense..... any input from others?

I got my approval y'day from TSC. This marks the end of GC journey. Been with same employer since Aug 1999 ( 9 Long years...........).

For my final H1B extension, I used Chugh law firm and my employer did premium processing with them. Got my 3 yr extn in 2 days!!! Not sure if its the law firm or just my case.But they were prompt in paperwork and my interaction with them was only twice. Just honor their checklist and u r done.

However, for GC, I used Mr. Michael Khosla's (The Law Offices of P. Michael Khosla & Associates, P.C. www.usimmigration.net (http://www.usimmigration.net)) services. Reasonable fee and awesome service. Never had any issues and got my GC in 2010
