I was researching some stuff & since you are from Fiji & with the political unrest in your home country, can you take political asylum since you were kinda forced to leave the country. Got the Case Number from check image. Still not received my Receipt Notice.

I applied my EAD renewal on June 19th and AP on August 1st. Both are approved today(august 20th). The Ead status is Card Production ordered.

thanks for responding...any contradicting/second opinions? What is the exemption towards - both filing for 485 and processing of 485 too, right? Isn't it an exemption from the EB quota?
The exemption is just to file, the processing will however take what ever the regular processing time would at that point of time. I am sure that there is no provision to expedite the "processing" of I145.

Things are very different in India now compared to when I came to the US (1999). Infact, I might not have taken the decision to come to the US had conditions been what they are now i.e. economy, job situation etc.

That being said, its a personal choice for most people - based on family ties, job situation, field of work and the reason for coming to the US/leaving India.

First you claimed that AC-21 job does not need to be permanent. Then you claimed that AC-21 job does not be same/similar to labor/I-140. Now you have changed stand on these two after seeing one RFE example.

Now, you are saying new AC-21 job does not be bonafide. Do you even read what are you saying?

well, the question then would be, has anyone been denied after presenting an EVL which states the employee is a consultant ?

Getting a letter is not a big deal. What if I am a full time consultant in that company?

Finally we have decided to go back to India for good. I filed my EB3 in May 2003. Its going to be another 4 years to get the green card. When I went to India for vacation last December, we liked it over there & the economy is booming. There are all sorts of discussion regarding the Economic Gap/Politics/Corruption/Cleanliness. But we like it over there. Finally I will have an option to do something interesting. In US I was very much dependent on my monthly pay check and afraid to take even the slightest risk. I am also scared to use the AC21(Hey, thats the way I am). I am working with the same company for last 10 years, kinda stagnant in the last 4 years. In India, there are lots of choices, either to work for a sw company or start some business on my own. I think I will take the business route.

May be I can go there, earn well, send my son to US for college, do green card through him & come retire in US!!!

Yes.. it looks like they are still receipting July 2nd cases, also they are working on from July 17th cases.

They have not touched yet July 3rd to 17th. not much.

My attorney asked just to give one cheque for $745 each for myself and my spouse for I-485, I -131 and I-765. Our applications will be filed today.

There is no wrong doing by DOS by changing the VB, but the timing is wrong. They should have changed it as soon as they released it or else atleast by 25th or 26th to prevent some damage.

Totally agree.. Can you tell which law has been broken by them.
They didnt break a single law.
USCIS broke a law last month by not accepting the EB3 Other workers, even when the bulletin said that the numbers were avaible.
But this time , they just did something morally wrong ( that 2 i am not sure, based upon what i have read so far, which are more or less speculations)
DOS updated the bulletin , for which they have full legal rights,
and USCIS just follwed it, No Law was broken,atleast i cant see, which law was broken.

If you go for a lawsuit , you would get those damages back, but as i said USCIS being a fees funded organisation, its will come back to you.

Im july 5th filer .Filed I140 and I 485 conc .Opened SR for FP because didnt recieve it till NOV .In NSC_CSC_NSC.next day after opening SR i got Fp notice .Obvously nothin to do with SR .Got reply for SR after a month which says " Status I-485 USCIS is waiting boimetrics info to produce permanent residency card "
Any idea what would this statement mean ?

Why are you attached to India when you hate it? You want to get Green Card in USA and live here permanently. So should you not learn more about this country and culture. You cannot live in USA but think about India all the time and hate it too.
