Attagirl.
Catherine Zeta-Jones attends a Royal Investiture at Buckingham Palace, where she was presentedwith a CBE by Charles, Prince of Wales, in honor of services to the film industry and to charity.
We heard about this getup before we saw it, in the manner of "OHMIGOD, did you guys SEE what Catherine Zeta-Jones wore to Buckingham Palace?!" "What? What?" we cried excitedly, giddy with the prospect of another actress revealing a little too much skin to the head of the Church of England and Europe's most beloved granny. Talk about a let down. We don't know what everyone was going on about; we think she looks appropriate and chic. Besides, there's a certain grandiosity to it that kind of tickles us. She always struck us as a bit up herself, so we kind of love that she dressed like pretend royalty for a visit to Buckingham Palace. What a perfect diva move. The only thing better would have been a tiara. You go, CZJ.Michael looks great. We honestly thought they'd be prepping his memorial for the Oscars right about now.
