Is "The Voice" a show about hideously unflattering skirts or something? Help us out here.
You will note that we didn't even bother asking if she's IN or OUT.
Kittens, this is a cry for help if ever we saw one. We suppose we could run down the list of visual crimes here, but why bother? Wrong dress, ratty hair, effort-free makeup applied via Sharpie. We find it very difficult to believe she paid a stylist to put this look together. In fact, we find it impossible. No, this outfit was put together by someone who has no understanding of Christina's body and no understanding of what works and doesn't with her looks. In other words, this look was clearly put together by Christina herself. She's tragic and she's OUT and that's all we can say because we're getting very upset just looking at her.
Let's talk about Burlesque instead. We had a really gay Friday night a week or two back when we rented the movie -- and then sat all the way through it! We know! Even we were impressed by our commitment. In all honesty, it's not a bad 2 hours if you want to shut your brain off (and so long as you can accept Xtina's total lack of acting talent and Cher's totally immobile face). The musical numbers are great. She may be a tacky dresser and not much of an actress, but the film makes it quite clear that Xtina's a hell of a performer. It was a little off-putting, the way the movie overtly referenced (or ripped off, depending on how kind you want to be) Cabaret, but it's definitely a good movie for a drunken Movie Night with the gals. Especially since there's male nakedness on display.
Look, you guys continue talking about the dress if you want. We can't. It's still too fresh.
