The Newcastle Jets say around two-thousand tickets are left for the exhibition match against LA Galaxy, but they're confident the game will be a sell-out. The family hill and general admission area are sold out for Saturday night's game, but tickets are still available in the eastern grandstand.
David Beckham and the LA Galaxy side will arrive at Williamtown Airport on Thursday morning.
Jets Director of Membership Richard Fisk says interest in the game is growing. "When we had the problems with the ground we sort of pulled back on selling the tickets for the event and went into a bit of a lull," he said.
"Progressively we see every day ticket numbers going up and up and up as the interest and the momentum starts to push. So yes, if you want to go and see David Beckham I would get in early."

Woman's Day magazine is also reporting that Victoria will be there as well. It says Victoria is focusing all her energy on the perfect wardrobe for her "epic Australian" adventure.
Victoria almost made a trip to Melbourne last month with the Victoria Racing Club and its major sponsors involved in big-budget talks to have her here for the Victoria Derby, Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day. The deal, rumoured to be worth up to $1 million, did not go ahead, although the VRC said it was hopeful it could host Victoria next year.
