Looks like someone needs to update their relationship status: Med student Priscilla Chan could soon be Mrs. Facebook — that’s what Bill Gates says anyway.

During an interview with a UK newspaper over the weekend, the Microsoft creator let the news slip that notoriously private Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has already popped the question to Chan, his college sweetheart. Billy Boy either revealed a well-kept secret or suffered a telling slip of tongue when he described Chan as Zuckerberg’s “fiancee” to Britain’s Mail on Sunday. Gates, who is close friends with the fellow billionaire, was talking about their shared passion for philanthropy when he dropped the revealing detail.

Mark, who turned 27 last month, and Priscilla, 26, have always publicized the fact they are in a relationship together. But the day after the Mail article was published, Zuckerberg removed any reference to his relationship status from public view. He also appears to have updated his privacy settings, no longer allowing photos he has been tagged in to appear along the top of his public profile. The couple live in a rented apartment near Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
