Yeah, I get to have my wisdom teeth out next Thursday, so it's anesthesia for me too!
Where do you people live that you get general anesthesia for wisdom teeth? I had all four of mine removed at the same time, and had to make do with 12 (4 by each tooth) shots of Novocain (local anesthetic) !!!! Then I got to listen as the dentist crunched the one that was coming in sideways and recessed so he could suction out the little pieces.
more...wallpapers of love failure.I'm saying that's my personal opinion. I know it's capable of playing games, but many people are disappointed about something that no one knows except maybe Apple or Intel.
Really? So if I buy a MBA, using your logic above, then one of the reasons I bought it was because it could play games. This is your opinion, your view of why some people buy a MBA. Just like what I said in my previous post was purely my personal opinion. Not dictation of anything. I'm sure many people agree with you and some that don't.
That's you. I simply stated how I personally use my computer. It's different for everybody. Not everybody is like me or you. Not everyone is a musician or creative artist. Of course, the backlit keyboard is a welcome addition. I never said anything against that.
That was the point of my post. I was trying to point out that different people will have different uses of a computer and have different skill levels. I was merely pointing out examples of the uses of a backlit kb (creative artists, users not as proficient in keyboarding) and the different audiences (gamers, portable users, media) that bought into an MBA.
Yea, I didn't mean to imply that users bought it generally because of gaming, but that it was just one reason that many users (certainly not all) did happen to buy it for. I myself didn't buy the Air for gaming purposes, though I found myself pleasantly surprised when squeezing in a game or two of Left 4 Dead on it. :)
And you explicitly said, and I quote you:
if you want to play games, then don't bother with the Air.
I don't know how else to interpret that. Unless of course you demand higher performance on newer games, then yea I would be inclined to agree with you. But I seem to read all the time on this forum that many users do in fact game on the Air and enjoy it. So why shouldn't they?

To be honest I have never seen that in the UK or in Finland.
Must be an American thing.
That and No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service. (so much for never turning away customers)
As if the shite that you carry in on the bottom of your foot is any worse than the shite you carry in on the bottom of your shoe.
wallpapers of love failure.have you tried adding the NAS to your login items via system preferences > accounts > login items ?
this will ensure the NAS mounts automatically when you boot your Mac.
Just tried that to no avail. It comes up with a little box saying "Connection failed. The server"nasbox" may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection and then try again"
I have noticed when i go into finder and click on the nasbox it auto logs in but for about 2 seconds it says "connecting" and then works when i launch itunes.
more...wallpapers of love failure. What, do you think Microsoft has been snubbed?
The meeting was between the President and the heads of Silicon Valley tech companies.
All of the companies represented at the meeting are based in California.
Microsoft is based in Redmond, Washington.
So Microsoft weren't invited (http://thenextweb.com/microsoft/2011/02/18/why-ballmer-wasnt-at-the-obama-tech-dinner/). ;)
I prefer to think that it is just another example of how Microsoft is becoming more and more irrelevant in the consumer market. They will be the IBM of the '10s.

and in september iPad 3 will move to #1 spot putting iPad 2 in second and original iPad in 3rd. And in 2012 iPad 4 will move to first...but i digress.
First off, leave my post alone.
Secondly you will see iPad 3 as early as September if competition is stiff. Only if iPad 2 retains major market share will Apple will delay release of iPad 3 until 2012, thus extending revenues from iPad 2.
i love u wallpaper. i love youI drove past a station today; 218.9 NZ cents per litre (US$6.15 per gallon). I remember when it was 90.9...

Automotive is one of the few industries still left in the U.S. It might be beneficial to look at where all the parts are made. ;) Let's talk about electronics, clothing, and shoes... :p

KIA joined that group over a year ago (http://www.businessweek.com/blogs/eyeonasia/archives/2009/11/koreas_kia_opens_auto_plant_in_us.html). :D
Correct, though I hadn't said my list was all-inclusive. :p
IIRC, and more relevant to the post I was responding to, Volkswagen was looking at a plant site in Chattanooga at one time, but I'm not sure that ever went forward.
So a 17 year old can do it but a gigantic company with $50 billion lying there can't. Seems logical to me.
Wake up Steve. Seriously.
No, there's a slight difference. He's simply selling the parts with no control on quality or guarantee that white glass will negatively affect the iPhone. Apple isn't selling the white iPhone 4 because there are quality issues that the suppliers can't overcome. Rumor is that the white glass on the iPhone 4 isn't consistently white and allows light to bleed through to the camera sensor. Apple had enough problems with the antenna "issue", so I imagine that'd take precautions with the white glass...

Wow, I came into this thread late. I wonder where the other 39% percent of the Silverado is from? I would guess more than one country. I know about the US Toyota plant, but Honda, too?
Anyway, I kind of like the Honda Fit and if that's helping American workers, then all the more power to them.
Honda has been building cars in Ohio at least since the early '90s. Had a '93 Civic built in East Liberty or Marysville... can't remember which. Sadly, the Fits (I actually own an '09) come from Japan.
