Without wishing to breach the piracy regs on MR have you considered changing the firmware on your PSP to an open version? Then you can stick all your legally owned games onto your memory stick and switch between them when you get bored. Saves carrying around a load of UMDs, or you can stick ripped films on there.
Feel free to delete if this breaches any rules :)

....And since I'm not moving in for months, should I wait until what, a week before moving in to pay them the security and rent?
You're four months away from wanting to actually move in??? I think you're looking to early.
I can't imagine any landlord holding an apartment that long without your paying for all the time you wont be living there

Get the latest version of TinyUmbrella. It needs to be updated each time a new firmware is released.
One would think he'd get the idea when it pops up and says "New Version Available, Please UPDATE NOW" whenever it loads. LOL, but alas, never OVERestimate people, hehe

Still, calling people foolish for failing to purchase the latest tech product (even if it is a phone)? Life. Get it.
thank you. I am so f$&^ing sick of reading all the less then negative attitude posts about the white iphone. I guess the folks making those posts feel compelled to tell everyone the world according to them is black, black or black.
oscar de la hoya wife. oscarIt wasn't because of that line.
I was finally able to check that and your are CORRECT it wasn't that line - I found that the reason it didn't work was that I had $webmaster and $email set to the same email address and something didn't like that... case closed.

The "right" amount is a bit subjective. WinXP requires 1.5GB of space, but you'll also need room for additional hardware drivers, room for temporary space/virtual memory, and room for games. You'll need to consider how much space your games will need. On my 500GB HDD, I partitioned off 100GB. It's not nearly enough for all the games in my library, but it allows me to have several of them installed while running Win 7.
However, I don't think there's a right answer that anyone other than you can provide. Also, read the Bootcamp message and make sure it supports WinXP. I know the 2011 MBPs do not.

more...Oscar De La HoyaHey, I have a few questions regarding recording interface and mics. All I want to be able to record is my guitar and voice at the same time and also separately. This is what I am looking at getting and I was just wondering on your opinions.
For an interface, this is what I am looking at.

For mics, this is what I am looking at.

Okay, so I've restored the drive to one partition, but now when i try to download the window support software I get an error message telling me "the support software is not available".
Surely it's not usually this difficult?
Oh - that's been a bug that's been around since they allowed for direct download. For some reason it simply doesn't work. You have to use the software located on your Snow Leopard disk. (Or disk 1 of the grey disks you got with your computer). You do this from the Windows side after you install XP. Note that the most recent models do not support XP because the component manufacturers didn't release drivers.

Hi MacRumors people! I've only just joined so I can ask my question, but in the past have found a lot of help in the forums form other people's questions :-}
My Mac specs:
Mac Pro OS X 10.6.7
Processor: 2.93 GHz Quad-core Intel Xeon
Memory: 6GB 1066 MHz DDR3
Graphics Cards: I have 2 NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
Displays: 2 Dell 24" LCD displays currently (had one 24" and one 22" last week before I swapped out the small one) (24"s: e248WFPb and 22": 2208WFPt)
Problemo:
My monitors are freaking out. I have a screen shot to show what I mean (it's hard to describe). I have had this computer (work computer) since August 2010. The 2nd graphics card was installed a month later by out IT guy.
About 2 months ago I started having weird screen rendering issues. They affected both screens, but were significantly worse on one of them (covering the entire screen on one, and only animations/vids on the other {such as animated gifs on a website, youtube vids, .mov/.avi files})
I asked my IT guy and he thought it could be one of the graphics cards - but each monitor is attached to a separate graphics card.
I called the Apple support hotline and the guy there told me he couldn't diagnose anything, and that I should take it to an Apple store and get a diagnostic test run on it (in case it was other hardware such as the motherboard)
I took it to the Apple store and the Genius ran diagnostics for 2 days (so he told me), and said they didn't find anything wrong, and they didn't see any display issues (but it was hooked up to 2 Apple displays)
So I brought it back, hooked up my 22' and 24" and had no issues for a couple days. Then they started again - this time reversed sides (i plugged my monitors into the opposite graphics cards). Finally today, I swapped the worse one (the 22) out. This made the issues on the 24 worsen, and the new one i plugged in (with a new cable too) has been fine except for videos (the video are is choppy, but not the UI/screen animations).
OK, sorry if that's confusing, I am just at my wit's end!
I am by no means tech savvy, I just use my computer everyday.
Usually I am running Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign at the same time (though problems occur when none are running), as well as Safari (the company website has embedded videos) and Firefox - using Eloqua.com (which features a browser based UI for email management - company stuff), and Outlook 2011.
My thoughts on what it could be:
- Dell and Mac not friendly with each other?
- an embedded video causing it?
- a script in Safari?
- a script in Eloqua on Firefox
Help!!!!!

The best part about this thread is the title: I read it as "China Unicorn finalizing deal for iPhone 4..."
I was just going to say the same thing :D Just got back from work sitting in front of the computer all day. The last thing I should be doing is going on the computer to read forums.
more...oscar de la hoya wife picturesVery simple mac is great for music if you have a lot of cds and rip them with apple lossless to iTunes.
oscar de la hoyaBesides Ebay? I'm not lookin for much, I just want to get rid of them. Any suggestions?
Oscar De La Hoya isWell, if you don't need edit away from home the iMac would be better just cause of it's specs and screen size. The macbook air would work if you needed to edit on-the-go. Also if you have a large amount of photos/videos the iMac could hold it all. With the mba you most likely would need to bring along a portable external hdd.

Now, what is the only thing that needs an update? ;)
Are you referring to 10.4.8 or the C2D MBP?
See, there's not just one update needed currently.;)

I have a package design project in my design class and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for packages that need to be redesigned.
What package couldn't benefit from a well-thought out redesign?
Thanks for the replies! I'm a little surprised there's not one speaking up for Perl, but yeah, did some more research on my own and found this
http://strombergers.com/python/
The Cocoa bridges/runtime are not a concern to me as I don't want "to make decent Mac OSX apps" with GUI and everything, just some command line tools for my own use. But the examples at that link pushed me over to go with Python. To put together quick automation scripts every now and then, I don't want to deal with a steep learning curve. The Perl examples there looked just too cryptic to me.
^ I just hope some more AAA games come out for it. I am nearing the end of Zelda...
