Socialite Candy Spelling’s unloaded her lavish Los Angeles mansion on a British heiress.

Petra Ecclestone, 22, is the proud new owner of the world-famous Spelling Mansion, The Wall Street Journalis reporting. The 57,000-square foot, 100 room home in the upscale Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles boasted an asking price of $150 million when it went on the market in March 2009. It was the highest-priced piece of real estate in the US. According to reports, Candy eventually auctioned off the property and opened the bidding at $75 million. Petra was victorious, although the final closing price for the estate has not been disclosed.

Candy and her husband, late TV/film producer Aaron Spelling, bought the property in the ‘80s and built the French chateau-style home on the site of Bing Crosby’s former estate in 1991. The not-so-humble abode is accentuated by a double staircase that was inspired by the 1939 cinema gem Gone With the Wind, a flower-cutting room, bowling alley, 27 bathrooms, a 100 car garage, a beauty salon, multiple gift-wrapping rooms, china room, and a “Prince Charles Suite,” inspired by the British royal, who once spent the night at the Spelling estate. The place was home to Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tori Spelling until she moved out on her own at age 19.

Petra, an heiress to a Formula One racing fortune, also reportedly owns a six-story home in the Chelsea neighborhood of London valued at $90.9 million. Petra- whose father Bernie is worth a reputed $4 billion – decided she wanted the house because she intends to split her time between London and Los Angeles after she ties the knot with fiancee James Stunt later this year.

Candy, on the hand, is downsizing. The grandmother is moving into to a 15,555-square-foot condominium in nearby Century City, which she reportedly purchased for $35 million.
