“These are abs, not bones!” Country music star LeAnn Rimes is defending a set of “scary skinny” bikini pics that arrived online over the weekend.

Most people would enjoy a bit of privacy on their honeymoon, but not LeAnn Rimes –- she’s been busy posting TwitPics throughout her romantic getaway in Mexico with new husband Eddie Cibrian. And she’s obviously keeping her smartphone close at hand so she can read all the comments from fans as she sun bakes on the beach.

When one Twitter follower commented that she looked “scary skinny” in her bikini shots, the singer immediately shot back.

“Those are called abs not bones, love,” Rimes snapped

She went on to say: “Thx but this is my body and I can promise you I’m a healthy girl. I’m just lean. Thx for your concern but no need to be.”
