Bristol pulls no punches in her new memoir, “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far,” which is due out Friday, and one of her biggest targets is Meghan McCain, the daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain. According to Bristol, McCain, 26, “ignored” then-Alaska governor Sarah Palin and her family during the families’ first encounter, just before Sen. McCain introduced Sarah as his presidential running mate in the 2008 presidential campaign.

“Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining,” she wrote. “Oh, the complaining.”

Meghan’s mom, Cindy McCain, doesn’t escape Bristol’s tome without a little scrutiny.

Palin writes that Cindy, heiress to a beer fortune and second wife of the senator, styles herself like a “queen,” complete with “helpers,” expensive luggage, and lots of cellphones.

“I’d never seen people with so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup.”

There’s been no reported response to the book from any of the McCains as of yet.

But while promoting her own memoir, Dirty Sexy Politics, last year, McCain criticized Palin’s family. And when Bristol couldn’t be bothered to vote in last year’s mid-term election because she was so busy trying to stay afloat as a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars — and outspoken politico Meghan vocally blasted the young mother’s carelessness.

“If you didn’t vote in my family that was like bad news. I ‘ve been voting since I turned 18,” Meghan — the daughter of the man responsible for upchucking The Palin Clan in the first place — told The Tonight Show’s Jay Leno shortly after Bristol’s confession. “I guess it’s only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing With The Stars. I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote. Anyone that doesn’t vote is just ridiculous.”
