Yes, we've been over this ground before.

See, you're winning me over.It bears repeating, and it's not about you. Some people are incorrigible in their search for vicarious jollies.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I got a white iphone 4 and i put one the wrapsol screen protector. My proximity sensor does not work. When i make a call the screen light does not turn off. does anyone know if the screen protector is the reason for it? My gf has the black iphone 4 with the same wrapsol and her phone works fine. Please let me know if any of you guys have the same problem. thanks.

LOL! These white iphone threads are hilarious. Only mindless Apple drones would spend so much time debating the "color" of a product. :D

Pretulant? Is this a Mergui thing?
Haha whoops!

(am actually trekking the flinders ranges :-))

Having trouble computing what exactly is "overdone" about the UI of this app. It is simple, clean and well organized.

If you so desire, help a brother out and explain what is "overdone" about the UI?

Steve
I remember back in the Nintendo 64 days there was a good Mario-like platform game called Banjo Kazooie. The first one looked amazing, was smooth and was a joy to play, looking great for one of the earlier games to come out on the system.

Fast forward a couple of years and Banjo Tooie (Banjo Kazooie 2) came out. Sure, it was 'bigger and better', with even more stuff going on and 'better graphics'. But it pushed the N64 beyond its capabilities and suffered from jerky gameplay, with too many things packed in for its own good. The whole game was, while good in pockets, too cluttered and the whole thing felt 'overdone'.

Tweetie 1 was akin to Banjo Kazooie. Unfortunately, Tweetie 2 is a bit more 'Banjo Tooie'. It's the classic underwhelming film sequel, there to cash on in on a brilliant first version.

That's what I thought. I'll get the part off eBay tomorrow and open it up.

If Apple stands firm, and iTunes continues to make money for Disney, I don't see why they wouldn't want to add revenue. Those who are going to download and pirate still will off of DVD's or other download services once their DRM is cracked, they might as well get the money from those who are willing to pay.

iOS improved so quick compared to other OS
There was so much missing it was easy to add stuff. And to add to the noise in this thread, yes, the notifications system needs to be improved. Right now, it's all or nothing, it needs to be a la carte.

I'm on a Core i7 860 @ 2.8GHz 8GB mem running Windows 7.

I'm 9% through my first task running on a single core. (I'll figure out how to use more cores later...)

How about that lame safari bug when you click on a YouTube link the browser turns blank?

Don't keep your eyes closed then.

I was like 60th in line at Tyce's corner, as I was about to finally enter the shop we were told all 16 and 64 GB black AT&T are sold out ....
2 hrs of queuing in the freezing cold for very poor marketing and logistics ... I should have learned my lesson !

Nothing special this month.

Link to original please?

Shot with RedOne and edited with FCS and Color.. proof that you can do great stuff with FCS :DNobody is denying what you can do with FCP, the problem is the bugs out way the function. I really think Premiere has a leg up at this point.

Wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but I'm working on a website with a friend and we need good Photoshop artists to submit their work for display on our site, and we need lots of forum members and a couple of moderators. The site is http://www.vaguephoto.net; if you want to be a forum mod there please email me: wgkamm@gmail.com. There's not too much to do as of yet, and the site isn't totally finished, but I thought I'd start spreading the word.

I just bought a new iPod Touch 4g (YEEE!!!!), and I would like to jailbreak it. It wasn't even plugged in yet. How can I restore it to 4.2 or 4.1 right off the bat? Turn off wifi and delete the other .ipsw's? Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

I wonder how difficult it would be find an individual with the talents needed both on the Software Engineering side & the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) side. Most GIS education these days doesn't really focus on programming. Infact, most GIS "programs" are just crash courses on how to operate ESRI products.

-_-

Ha ha! I work with ESRI on ARC integration...Alot of schools are actually providing geospatial related degrees (be it analysis or as a concentration under CS). That said, Id rather the HW improve to have better position referencing.

Switches every 30 mins, but currently showing this.

What's your point, rev316?

I have a difficult client I'd like to tell to go and design their own site.
Any suggestions on where to find Open Source web design software that's pretty point and click? (HTML Language would freak them out, as it also does me.):o

To answer my own question, I just updated my iPhone to iOS 4.3.2, and my previous installation of XCode3.2.6+SDK 4.3 downloaded symbols from the iPhone and was able to debug just fine.

So I didn't need to do huge .dmg download after updating yet again.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I got this and Missile Command. It's pretty terrible on the iPod touch. Way too small to be playable without bringing on a migraine.

I KNEW something was going on with Apple with regards to Bertrand.

All the amazing benefits both with speed, less HDD space usage on a clean install, OSX in general (Darwin) and even server or core shells we owe to Bertrand Serlet; not this dingle berry kiss-arse.

I worry that OSX will go complete IOS with a larger screen & storage.

Bertrand Serlet ... you will be solely missed and I HOPE you still get to fiddle with Darwin in each open source iteration.

He's exit on this article I vote as a NEGATIVE!

Not so great at GREPs for Adobe Indesign. Would anyone care to help me figure out a GREP statement for the following scenarios:

1) Find letter x which occurs before letter a, ie 'xa'. Apply character style 1 to x.
2) Find letter combo xx. Apply character style 2 to the first x of this combo.

Any help would be much appreciated. I have an account on adobe.com, but i can't create threads there for some reason. This seemed like the next best place?

Yes, men should stop. And to prevent sexual assault women should dress in a classy way. I hope you're getting my point.I get a point, but I don't think it's the point you think you are making.
