Lindsay Lohan threw a rooftop barbecue party for 10 friends at her Venice, California, townhouse on Sunday, June 12, day 18 of her house arrest! On May 26, after Lindsay surrendered at the Lynwood Correctional Facility to begin a 35-day house arrest at her $7,100 a month rented Venice home, we reported the development under a story titled Lindsay Lohan: A Stay at Home and Party Inmate?. As it turns out, we were on the money. Under the terms of her house arrest, Lindsay, 24, cannot step out of her home. If she does, an ankle bracelet that she is required to wear 24/7 will trigger an alarm through her phone and alert the Sheriff's department. Lindsay can, however, receive visitors. She is currently not undergoing random testing for alcohol and drugs, so she can even party at home. We ended the story by saying, Lindsay is quite capable of violating even these mild terms. Hopefully, that part of the story will not come true, though Lindsay still has 17 days more to serve, under house arrest. Lindsay was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 days of community service for violating the terms of her probation in a 2007 DUI case, after she was booked for stealing a $2,500 necklace. While sentencing Lindsay, the Judge allowed her to serve the sentence at home with a monitoring device due to jail overcrowding and other factors.
