i myself had this problem once in the past, i fixed it by using a small amount of superglue on the edges of the processor, just enough so it sticks firmly in place but not too much that it blocks the thermal paste between the heatsink and processor

It's weird, My MacBook Pro now wont boot into OS X lion, before the login screen it shows the mouse for a second and now it sticks at blue. :o
30s style finger waves,A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.

retro finger wave suitedI followed instructions that I came across on the internet to reinstall mac os x as I just got an iMac second hand.
Was not given the option to 'Erase and install' and instead followed through the install and now things are not working properly.
I noted down that it was OS X 10.1.5 now it is OS X 10.1.2.
When I start up it only shows the display and the time in the top right corner. Will not display dock or finder.
Please help! What can I do to fix this?

You're thinking about it in the wrong way. The router isn't actually blocking that if it doesn't work, it just doesn't take extra measures to route the traffic that unnatural way.
Why would you need it to behave like that anyway?

Dell's LCDs are cheaper and better than Apple's anyway. Apple and Dell also both get them from LG (when it comes to Dell's widescreens.....not sure about the rest).

Boy cut, Finger wave.I would contact Apple and they will replace the SuperDrive under AppleCare.
I don't really wanna go through all that hassle just for that...
The superdrive works fine and everything. Just a few times now it wouldnt bring the disk into the drive unless I restarted it..
I'd rather figure out the problem, I don't use the drive enough to be without my computer IF they even were to replace it.

I`m a little new to some of the Mac World and this weekend. When do things like the new iphone and ipod touch show up in the stores if announced this weekend?
Apologies if this has been asked before, but a precursory search has revealed nothing.
Is there a difference between the boxed version of Aperture 3 ($199!) and the App Store version ($79)?
Given the price difference I wonder if the app store version is missing features or is an "Aperture lite".
I already own the boxed version, but my curiosity must be satiated!

he was recruited onto a team and they compete in international tournaments... according to him, the only proper gaming set up would use a CRT not an LCD. *shrugg* I'm quite ignorant in these matters though. :o
